Regional Center for Human Rights founded in 2013 in Sevastopol. Due to the occupation of Crimea, we were forced to move to Kyiv. Our team is an association of professional lawyers, advocates, human rights defenders, and activists united by shared values and purpose.
We want human rights to be respected even under the conditions of occupation, and those guilty of violating them should be punished. For this, we use international and national legal remedies. The main directions of our activity are the documentation of international crimes of the Russian Federation (including the crime of genocide against the Ukrainian nation), protection of property rights, the right to freedom of movement, citizenship issues, etc.

Regional Center for Human Rights joined the initiative to create an association of human rights organizations that jointly collect and document war crimes and crimes against humanity committed during the Russian armed aggression in Ukraine. The coalition began work on February 25, 2022 – the day after the new stage of armed aggression by the Russian Federation.
We hand over documented evidence to Ukrainian law enforcement agencies and other institutions of international justice, including the International Criminal Court.
Regional Center for Human Rights is one of the founders of the HRH Crimea, which was created for effective and systematic work on promoting and observance of human rights in connection with the occupation of the peninsula.
HRH Crimea is a member of the international network of Human Rights House Foundation, which includes 17 organizations in 11 countries of Eastern and Western Europe, the Caucasus, and the Balkans.
The world’s largest civil society association promoting international justice. The coalition advocates for a more peaceful world through universal access to justice for victims of war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide.
